Excellent design and execution! May I ask what sewing thread you used? At first I thought you used one strand of a metallic thread. Are there gold beads in there as well? The effect is stunning!
Thanks for the response! 20 years ago I had a difficult time finding any kind of metallic thread that would tolerate pulling the tatted knots into a ring. I finally found metallic DMC thread on a spool, which is usually sold with the cross-stitch supplies. It's equivalent to size 30 tatting thread. I'm amazed that you can work with two strands of metallic sewing thread! Love the bead in the center, too!
