Ming
I had this Ming tree kit in one of my totes. Been itching to put it together.
Bell
This bell looks more like a tree, with this thread. It looked better with the silver thread.
Another
Here is another flower, starting to poke through.
Thaw
Winter is starting to go away and spring is coming. I saw this flower, pushing above the snow.
Pendant
Here is the matching pendant. I'm keeping these.
Italian
I'm very impressed with this Italian magazine. The magazine is "Il Mio Chiacchierino, #6". There are tons of wonderful patterns. Here is one of them. I made the with three strands of sewing thread...2 rayon and one metallic.
Last One
The last quilled flake, for now.
Tea Lts
This, adorable, tea light holder was from, Paradise Treasures, called "Beaded Tea Candle Holder."
Another
Still tatting in the evenings and during trips to town. Something, different, to break up the afternoons.
Color
No one said snowflakes had to be white. This one needed a little color.
Doily
A little doily, called "Bruce's Doily," by Be-Stitched. This doily, demanded attention. Good challenge.
Heart
Found a quilled heart pattern, using metallic papers. I used plain paper and didn't get that "WOW" effect.
Still
Still snowing around here. Love making these quilled snowflakes.
Pop
I wanted something more, with a little more POP.
Empty
I needed to empty a large shuttle for a doily I want to start soon. Made a simple little wreath.
Mousey
I tried this, simple quilled mouse pattern, wasn't thrilled with the plain mouse, so I added a boarder around it...still not thrilled with it.
Kevin
My husband likes the Minions, especial Kevin (the "Brains" of the operation). The pattern is by Sarah Wood. I didn't have the materials to make the eyes/goggles, so I tatted them.
Trees
My mom decorated this towel and gave it to me. It needed a little edging to give it life. I don't remember were I found the pattern, sorry. I take that back, I do remember, it is Lady Shuttlemaker's, Chataline.
Shuttles
Here are the shuttles my Mom gave me for Christmas. I had to decorate them a little.
Another
This was the other cross design...
Cross
Wanted to do a cross, so I designed this. Quilling, reminds me of tatting.
