Ankars
Ankars
This pin is one of Roma Stepnaya patterns called, "Coral Pin." I didn't have the coral beads so I made it in Lizbeth, size 40, blue river everglades. I'm not fond of the Ankars method because the beads get sewn on after the tatting is done. I prefer to add the beads as I tatting. The pin is also suppose to hang the other way. I didn't have a pin backing, short enough so I hung it from the bow pin. I'm very happy with the way it hangs. This is one I need to practice on. Thanks to Nina, for translating this book. I don't read Russian thankfully the patterns were well diagramed.
