    I, finally, had the courage to work on the hummingbird watercolor.  I added metallic, gold paint to the pigments to give the bird an iridescent look.  This went better, than I thought it would.

     I wanted something different.  This pansy became a brooch.

      Finished the doily in time for the fair.  It measures 12" across.  It's from Jan's, "Tatted Treasures," pg 63.  This has been on my bucket list, from the time I received the book.  Maybe, one day, I'll make the matching flower picture that goes with it.

      I had tatted, three tea pots, earlier this year.  I wanted to frame them together, but didn't find a frame for them.  I found and old frame with a clock in it.  I cleaned it up, slapped on some gold paint, mounted and matted the tea pots.

    Starting another doily.  This one has been on my bucket list, since I received, Jan's, "Tatted Treasures" book.  This is doily number 8.

    I had received, two glass bells in a tatting exchange, a few years ago.  I finally finished one.  The pattern is by Terry McGuffin.  The pattern said to make a large ring, on the bottom, and attach the tatting to it.  I didn't like the look so used beads, instead.

      I remember seeing a beautiful, Christmas tree picture in my grandmother's kitchen.  It hung above the kitchen table, next to the doorway to the living room.  The tree was made of old jewelry.  I thought that was one of the coolest things I had seen.  One day, I wanted to make one of the.  

     Well, one day is here.  I found a beautiful picture frame, at a yard sale, for fifty cents.  Couldn't pass that up.  I went through my jewelry stash, found broken pieces of jewelry and jewelry that didn't have any attachment points for embellishment tatting.  Here's what I came up with.
