Chain Maille
A friend, gave me a book on chain maille and some some jump rings. She had an extra book and used to sell the chainmaille jewelry, when she lived in western Washington. Here is the first lesson on the "Idiots Delight" (Byzantine). I had made the bracelet with bright aluminum jump rings.
Confirmation
We had two confirmands, this spring. Here is one of the crosses. Yes, they are from my favorite book by Lene Bjorn. I used one strand of sewing thread to add a little color.
Color
Here is the colored version. These markers were a lot of fun. Now to find another flower to draw. The true picture is more vibrant. I was having trouble getting a good picture with my camera.
Outline
I decided to draw one of my dahlia's from my flower bed. The Chameleon set came with a duel, fine-tipped marker to outline the drawings.
Chameleon
My sister had given me a set of Chameleon markers for my birthday and my neighbor had given me a set of "toppers" for the marks and a marker case for them. These markers are awesome! The markers have a colorless blender attached to the marker. This enables you to touch nib to the blender for a period of time to blend the nib color. As you draw, the color is colorless and graduates to the color of the marker. The colored "toppers" have the same effect, but with color instead of colorless blends. I had to map out the markers and try a little blend in the process.
