      I've always been intrigued with glass and transparency/translucency.  It's been on my bucket list, to draw/paint a glass object.  I found a study on making a glass vase using watercolor.  I used markers, instead, and I like the turnout for my fist picture.

       Our fair has just ended...here are the results:  18 - 1st place, 1 - 2nd place, 4 - Best of Class, 2 - Grand Champion, 2 - Reserve Champion, 2 - Special Awards with a $10 award, and two entries that didn't win.

     Here is the jewelry.  The jewelry department is a hard competition.   All jewelry is lumped into one.  All beadwork, silversmithing and tatting are judged all together.

       The feather came out, about the same, as the first one.  I used a darker pink on this one.

     This jellyfish came out, better, than the first one.

      I like how this pear came out.  Their study was too, washed out.  This picture has more depth. 

Rework

      I'm reworking through the Chromatek marker studies.  The set of markers came with watercolor paper, lightly sketched with the studies.  There were two pages, per-study.  One for practice and one for real.  I think I need to rework this one again.

        I adopted a baby dragon.  I found her at our farmers market.  Amelia's (Cabinet Mountain Creations) son made these.  She is very shy and very flexable.  She has an iridescent shine to her.   Now...what should I name her.

     Looks like it's going to be a little cooler for the market, tomorrow.  See you tomorrow (Saturday).

Bonners Ferry Farmers Market, downtown in the city parking lot. We are there from 8 am to 1 pm.

My space is the second space on the right, from the visitor center/bathrooms.

I'll have handmade/hand cut stones from the local areas and make my own settings for each stone. I have a few spiders, glow necklaces, and lots more. All locally made in Idaho and hand made.

Of course, I have a lot of tatted items and tatting supplies. New batches of wooden rattie shuttles, decorated shuttles, tatting essentials, tatting kits. Handmade tatted jewelry and motifs.

I will be tatting, of course. If you are interest in tatting, bring a chair. If you have a tatting shuttle and size 10 crochet thread, bring it and I'll teach you. If you don't have a shuttle you can get one from me and I always carry a little extra thread.
