Doves
I found a package of doves in the scrapbooking department.
Silversmithed: jewelry and tatting shuttles............ Glass blowing: crochet hooks, dinosaurs, ice sickles, pens, earrings, and spoons.......... Tatting: jewelry, motifs, doilies, hankies, books, crosses, and much more.
Tail
I gave little blacky a tatted tassel and I found a sheet of acid-free scrapbooking stickers at the dollar store. I had a little bear charm to add to the tassel.
Blacky
We have two kinds of bears, up here in north Idaho...grizzly bears and black bears. A little black bear moseyed into our back yard and decided to live with us.
Of course, not a real bear but an electric kalimba. This one sounds amazing. It came with an audio cable so I tried it on a cheap speaker. It didn't work so I'll look for a little portable amp. I would like to play it during the farmers market to pass the slow time. Did you notice the initial is the same as my name, "M"?
Thaw
The winter thaw is occurring, causing the spiders to move in. Don't worry, after this, winter will set in...
Shuttlebird Workshop....Open
The workshop is now open for registration. The workshop is from 28 April to 1 May at the Ross Point Camp in Post Falls, Idaho. I'm teaching all six classes, this time. I'll teach the bracelet pattern, twice. Hope to see you all there.
Heart
My heart kalimba needed a heart tassel. The modified heart pattern is a by Jon. The long part of the tassel is by Dee Powell.
Stickers
I found some acid-free, scrapbooking stickers at the dollar store to add to the heart kalimba.
Bear
I made a fob for my Aklot bear kalimba. The pattern is one of Robbin's bookmark patterns. I added a few beads and a charm.
