     I had gotten a new acrylic kalimba.  This one is a little heavier.  About an inch thick, but it sounds wonderful.  It was advertised as a cat's paw, but maybe....it's a mouse paw.

     I attempted to make tat, Wanda's, "August Cross," while watching an interesting tv show.  I forgot an arm so I had to improvise.

     I went through my button and jewelry stash to make a few more kalimba charms.

      I made my sister a dolphin charm for her ocean kalimba.  The pattern is on of Jane's water animals. 

Lily

     A friend sent me one of her photographs of a day lily.  I Thought it would make a beautiful drawing.  The back ground was done in watercolor penicl (Prismacolor).  The underpainting with marker (Chameleon Art Products) and accented with colored pencils (Caren D'Ache Pablo).  The picture was drawn on Strathmore Mixed Media Vellum. 

This looks better in person.
