I'm a post-shuttle girl. I haven't found a bobbin shuttle, that doesn't want to "slip" as I tat...until know. I just bought Handy Hand's Dreamlit shuttle and love it. I can easily change out threads, by removing the oval bobbin. This is the best of both worlds. There are strong magnets that hold the two halves of the shuttle together. I don't put it in my purse, in case the magnets are strong enough to zap my credit cards. The only thing I would change is a shorter picot hook. This shuttle fits perfectly in my tatting cases.
