      Found this pendent in the same jewelry box.  I'm not pleased with the flower part, it has too many beads.  I'll re-tat the flower in the design, I started with.  

     The threads are Lizbeth, size 20's.  The gold leafy part was a challenge, trying to tat it in one round.  Once I finished all but the bottom leaf, I was stumped on how to attach it to the top part of the leaf.  Hummmm....what to do....I know, I go look on dear Jane's techniques section.  Yes, she saved me again!!  She has a "Downward Facing Picot" pdf.  Thank's Jane for your wonderful web site!!

      Here's my second attempt...not so busy.

     This heart pendent was in a jewelry box, I found at an estate sale.  The large jewelry box was packed full of jewelry and got it next-to-nothing.   
     
     The pendent was done in Lizbeth, size 20, vineyard harvest.  It is 1.5" in diameter.

25 100 Motif Challenge

        I finished my 25 motif challenge, so I'm starting 100 motif challenge.  Tatting 100 original designs, sets, and large items.

     To start it off...here is my latest design:  Crystal Breeze Pendent.  I found the snowflake at a yard sale.  One of the arms were missing, so I took the rest of the arms off and smoothed the ends with a rubber polishing bit (comes in a Dremel set).  The pin assembly was soldered to the end of the arms, so didn't have to do any extra work on it.

     The pendent was tatted in four rounds with pearl cotton #12 and measures 2 1/2" across.  Can't keep them all, but seriously thinking about keeping this one!!

 Necklace:  8 X 17 mm stone w/sterling silver, rhodochrosite and mother-of-pearl beads. The total length is 18". This picture does not do it justice. The white beads are actually off-white. One of my favorite pieces.

 Ring:  5 x 7 mm stones. size 7.

 The pattern is from "The Tatted Artistry of Teiko Fujito", by Teiko Fujito.

      

 Hanky edging...simple design.

 This bauble is call the "Universal Bauble".  This is one of the pattens in my first book:  Baubles and Motifs, found on my Face Book page.  The bauble is a piece of glass, you find in the craft section.

The smaller baubles are from my new book:  "Baubles and Motifs II".  The larger bauble is a the same pattern, with a larger string and bauble.  The pattern is called "Small Flower Bauble."
