Hanky

Hanky

This was a lovely gift I received from my parents, a delicate hanky.  They found it, while visiting Colorado.  The hanky looks too pretty to leave in a drawer and too delicate to use.  So, I'm using it as a doily on my grandmother's armoire.  The little painting, I made for her, about 15 years ago and the yellow doily was one I found at an estate sale.

  3. All the pieces are quite lovely. It would be a shame to see the doily or the hanky tucked away in a drawer and not being used. I could see that dainty hanky being used by a lady, tucked up her sleeve and handled to bring attention to her dainty hands when when she would pull it out to daintily dab at her eyes. (Do I read to many historical romances?) The painting is lovely also. You have so many talents!
