Cornelia

This doily is from the same book, done in Lizbeth, size 20, fruit punch and spring green.  This doily measures 8" across.  This doily is mine.  I tatted just for that candy dish.

  3. I have a question for you on this pattern, Is this patterned printed wrong? Because I noticed that at the very edge where it wants you to chain ten double stitches, I think they skipped the picot and the amount of double stitches before the picot on the chain. Looks like five looks like you noticed this too!

    1. Yes, there is a join missing. At the "Start" arrow, the chain has 5 - 24. It was left out in the next part. It should be 5 - 10 to start the outer flower. I used a highlighter to highlight the tricky joins, I would forget to make. I also put in all of the stitch counts, so I wouldn't have to look back for the number. These doilies require some discipline. I like the tatting in one round. Anxious to see your progress on your blog.

  4. Thanks for the information!I loaded my shuttles but worried cause I put very small thread in and well I usually like size 20, I only use small 80 If I feel real comfortable, so this may be real interesting. I may look like when my dog gets a hold of it :)
