Spring Green Earrings
This pair of earrings was Tatsmithed around a medium, green cats-eye cabochon. The earrings are 1 1/8" X 5/8".
Purple Diamond
In the mood to do some Tatsmithing. The Purple Diamond was done with two strands of metallic gold sewing thread, around a focal bead. The pendent is 2 X 3".
For My Aunt
My aunt has been placed in a nursing home, so my mom asked me to make her a cross to hang in her room. This cross is called Christina, from Lene Bjorn's, "Tatted
Bookmarks" book. The cross was made with size 10 crochet thread and has a gold
filament. The cross measures about 4 X 6". The middle of the cross has a crystal heart, hanging from it.
Slowly Working
Finished a batch a frog shuttles. About 60 some to go. These are made from Maple, Popular and Red Oak.
Designing
Usually, I am able to get a new design to come out the first time. Maybe, a little tweaking the second time. BUT 4 TIMES!!! I must be loosing it! I'm not able to cope with failure in the art department. I figured out the design wasn't coming out to my standards because I was using a tear drop bead instead of a bead with the hole through the center. Finally, four tries later, and I obtained the design I was looking for.
The pendent was tatted with two strands of gold, metallic sewing thread, aroung a focal bead and a flattened bead for the drop.

The Other Sister
This is the other purse, I made for my baby sister. They both received them at the same time for Christmas (4 years ago). This one was made with size 20 crochet thread.
Purse for My Sister
Was going through my pictures and found a few I haven't posted. I designed this purse, for my sister, four years ago. There was a matching hanky, but I forgot to take a picture of it. The tatting was done in size 40 thread.
