Owl Earrings

Owl Earrings

Weekly challenge #19, In Tatters Tattbugg's, "Owl for Needle Tatting".   Tatted with Lizbeth, size 20, gold.

We had a few visitors, yesterday, behind the house...35 mule deer.  There was one nice buck and two little spikes in the group.

  3. Nicely done on the earrings! It's a cute pattern.
My, that's quite a herd of mule deer. We mostly see white tail and not usually anywhere near that many at a time. Nice pictures.

  4. FYI--at the 2012 Palmetto Tat Days conference in Georgia, USA, this same owl pattern was distributed by a different designer (with copyright notice firmly in place). I think Tatabugg and Riet Surtel-smeulders need to have a friendly chat and agree on pattern rights between the two of them. (Because needle and shuttle patterns aren't enough of a difference to protect a copyright.)

    1. Thanks for the info!! Your right there is NOT really a difference between shuttle and needle tatting patterns.
