Ribbon
During one of the Christmas tatting exchanges, someone gave me a ribbon card kit. I finally finished it. As many of times I damped the fabric and ironed it, I could not get the creases out of the fabric.
Organizing
I was organizing my studio and came across a tub with unfinished projects. I'm slowly working through the projects. Here is a crocheted doily, I finally finished.
Multi
I decided to try a variegated thread for another motif. I tried my hand at designing a few motifs.
Workshop
While teaching at the Shuttlebird workshop, Karen was selling teneriffe kits. This stroked my interest and I researched it. I found a site with plans for pin holes for a jig. I used various types of plastic containers to make a few jigs and gave it a try. This is the basic, starter motif. This technique is combination of knots and weaving.
Xstitch
While reorganizing my studio, I came across a tub full of half finished projects. Time to start finishing them.
Beaded
I had a lot of glow beads left over from one of the classes I taught at the Shuttlebird workshop. I came across a picture of a beaded purse. Thought it was interesting and decided to make up a pattern to make one. I started it back in January and what I thought would be fun to make. This was a dreaded, boring task. I finally forced myself to finish this thing so I could have my workbench back. I like the finished purse. The string is fishing line so it can go to the beach and get wet. The best thing, besides being finished, that it GLOWS.
