      The results from the miscellaneous category.

I didn't expect the result from this.  This was competing against all glass work, including stained glass.  This one had gotten all four of the ribbons.  Very pleased.

This one was under recycled.  I didn't expect much from it but threw it into the fair anyway.

Love the way this jewelry box came out.  Painting it and adding a few diamonds to it made it really "pop."

This one was under dolls.

      This is the jewelry category.  Our fair lumps all types of jewelry into one.  All mediums of necklaces are judge against each other.  Sometimes this is hard when someone makes a spectacular necklace from beadwork or metal working.

Tin

       One of my diamond painting pens came in a neat little tin.  It needed a little dressing up with some etching.

Finished

     I put the finishing touches on it.  For the most part, I'm happy with it.  I have one gear, on the left that doesn't work properly.  When the lid is opened, the top drawers move out to the side.  The left drawer doesn't open.  I did get the bottom draw to close.  This pictures don't do it justice.  The jewelry box is gorgeous.  It reminds me of something from the 50's.

Of course, it needed a little glow to it.

    The bottom drawer was a little too tight to fit properly.  I'll have to do a lot of sanding on the sides to get it to close.

     I don't like the way they made the facing on the bottom drawer.

     Love the way the side drawers came out.

     I needed a break from workshop stuff and decided to put together another jewelry box.  This one I decided to paint with metallic gold and robin egg blue.

     Decorated another shuttle from the left-over, bits and pieces of nail wraps.

Beads

     My mom gave me some of my dad's beads.  I decided to make a memory bracelet out of them.

      Last fairy for now.

Clearing

     I'm working through my projects, so I can clear off my work bench.  I decided to finish two more fairies.  I like the way this one came out.

     Time to do my nails again and a matching tatting shuttle.

Medicine

      I etched the two Tom's their own whisky glasses..."Tom's Medicine Cup."

Front

       I love the front, glass piece.  The front part of the peacocks tail in on the front portion of the glass and the main body is on the back portion of the glass.

It's hard to get a good picture of this.
