Butterfly

Butterfly

I love  this pattern.  This time I used two shuttles to give the wings a different color.

  1. Oh, I love the effect of two different threads on two shuttles. It just adds more glamour. Is one of the threads variegated? I've been wondering how it would look in a variegated thread.Your butterflies really are inspiring.

    1. Yes, one is variegated. Still three stands of 40 wt sewing thread. I try to match up the thread color, as I'm measuring out the 14 yds..3 times. If the color is a little off, it doesn't make much of a difference. I used verigated blue to wight.

  6. I have been distracted by several other things lately, and have totally missed your progression with tatting this Ankars technique butterfly designed by Angela! Each one is gorgeous! I really can't pick a favorite!

You seem to have mastered this technique very quickly, and it doesn't surprise me, because you have a natural talent with so many different crafts! Your own tatted jewelry is quite spectacular also!
