The living room had old, dark carpet and the wood stove was sitting on wooden blocks, on a large rock. The pictures, of the before, was taken before we moved in.
We replaced the carpet with laminate flooring. My husband tiled the floor, under the wood stove and built a beautiful tiled box.
The room, behind the living room, was a family room. We converted the family room into a huge master bedroom. For privacy, we hung oriental, folding screens up as doors. My husband also found some iron bear footprints in the dirt, outside. He cleaned them up and we added some fresh paint to them.
