Thi is an extremely sad day. I'm pretty much unpacked and couldn't find my sketch book with my latest tatting patterns!!
I just remembered, I put it in my desk, right before we moved. Unfortunately, we didn't have any room on our last trip, so I took a few things out of my desk. We took the desk to the free pile, at the dump with the rest of the contents. My tatting sketch book was tuck up, above something, so I overlooked it :( :(
Thankfully, I scanned most of the book, except for the "Garden Collection!!!

Oh, that's awful! All your hard work and ideas gone. I'm glad you scanned most of them, all is not lost, though it is too bad about the ones you didn't.
ReplyDeleteOh that is very sad, hopefully you took some pictures of your works or were these just new ideas? If new ideas, say a prayer that you will remember some of them.
ReplyDeleteThat would make me very sad as well. I did something similar when we moved to the farm 33 years ago. I left behind a table that wouldn't fit in our truck, and I forgot that my favorite cookbooks were in that table. Luckily, I was able to replace them both a couple of years ago thanks to Amazon.
