LWML
LWML
LWML stands for Lutheran Women's Mission League. Made 50 some, guardian angel pins for LWML Sunday. This is a simple doodle, using Lizbeth, size 20, purple.
Great idea to use a simple doodle for the angel. What a nice card they are on, too. And 50 of them! I'm sure the ladies liked them. We usually do our LWML Sunday in October, perhaps I should do this. I've got plenty of time!
I really like this angel! I am trying to figure out the pattern, but don't understand how you did the ring of beads. Is there any chance of a pattern?? I would really like it make some. Thanks
That is very nice, and cute on the cards love the dove too! paper is another favorite thing I love to craft with :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of work, love the way you have displayed the angel and with the dove.

ReplyDeleteOur LWML was in October. Just posted this one a little late. I belong to Concordia Lutheran in Weiser...Where is your Lutheran church?

ReplyDeletetry this:
DeleteR1: 2 - 6 (join to the pin or add picot) 6 - 2
R2: 2+ (to previous ring) 6 - 6 ---- (long picot to accommodate the beads) 2
R3: 2 + (bead join to the long picot) 6 - 6 + (join to R1) 2
Hope this helps. Don't be afraid to ask questions. I made a lot of these as earrings.
I use to make these years ago for gifts.
