I also received an 8 - tined, baby bear kalimba. Once I tuned it, it doesn't sound that bad. If nothing else, it's a cool necklace. Of course the necklace needed a few, pretty beads.

I just received a new kalimba...a Kimi, acrylic, rainbow, mama bear. It sounds amazing, a rich, deep, resonating tone. Since this is a flat board kalimba, it's not as loud as the hollow kalimba. I tried to capture the rainbow effect.
