     The next lesson was the feather.   They commented, this was going to be the most, difficult lesson.  The lessons I was going through, can be found on their YouTube channel.

      Here is the first, marker lesson.  The booklet has six lessons with two of each lesson.  One for practice, then the real one.  The lessons have an abstract outline, lightly drawn on each of the pages.   I realized, after painting the first two, red leaves, that I was using the wrong color.  They were supposed to be lighter.  Good thing they gave us a practice page.

     Just getting back from Iowa.  While out there, my sister gave me a set of Chromatek markers.  These markers are Japanese, brush markers with the real brushes.  The kit also came with a practice book and four water brushes.  

     These markers are different from most.  The markers are drying and designed to be activated with water.  You scribble a little ink on the paper, then activate it with the water brushes and use it like a watercolor.

     On my first nail order, from The Flamingo Lady, I ordered glow-in-the-dark dinosaur nails.  I ordered two of them...they were on sale.  I have plenty to do my nails a couple of times and the larger, thumb nail to decorate a naked shuttle.

     The Flamingo lady, Rachel, sent me a set of flamingo nails, the first time I ordered from her.  I had a few extra nails to decorate a couple of matching shuttles.

I used Del Sol's, UV, color changing, glitter, fingernail polish to make the shuttle change to dark pink in the sun.

Tricky

     The nail stamping is tricky!  Not all fingernail polish works.  Tricky to get a good, clean image.  Plus, it's fingernail polish...you have to work quickly, before it dries.  I like the way these came out.

     While looking for unique nail wraps, I came across nail stamping.  I thought this would decorate a beautiful shuttle and try it on my nails.

The shuttle on the right, was done with toe nail wraps.
