     Had entered a few giveaways and won a wonderful set of colored pencils and drawing pencils from Barb Sotiropoulos Art and Staedtler.

     I am all ready for Christmas and decided to start tackling one of my project boxes...actually a tub.  I haven't tatted these balls for years.  I had designed the pattern, when I started tatting, using a needle.  Since then, I shuttle tat them, using a large shuttle.  These were made with pearl cotton #12.

    A dear friend, from the farmer's market, works at one of the antique stores.  He said this had been sitting in the shop, for years and thought I might like it.  He thought it was tatting, but once I looked at it, it is gorgeous bobbin lace.  There also was an old shuttle.

       My little treasures came from my secret Santa, Bonnie.  She must have know, I was low on purple thread and always need hand sanitizer.  She also gave me more thread, shuttle, hanky and lip balm.  Plus....a gorgeous tatted ball with a snowman hanging from the bottom.

     This is one of my favorite pairs of earrings, just tatted.  Reminds me of the Christmas season.  Can you see the design of the embellishment, incorporated into the tatting?

    This pair of earrings has a cross-like appearance.  The embellishment was very simple so my design needed to be a little more elaborate.
