Geocaching
A made this geocaching bag, for a Christmas present. The recipient is like a sister. We have been best friends since preschool. She likes music, so I added Stuart to the bag.
Clutch
My mom gave me this awesome clutch kit to sew. I'll have to make a shuttle case and shuttle to match the clutch. I never go without at least one shuttle. (the thing on the top/background is my glasses, holding it up.)
The Bracelet
The matching bracelet for one of the earrings...From the Garden Collection.
Wheel
A couple of my "Pinwheel" earrings for my sisters.
Icy
In the mood for a little glassblowing. Made lots of ice sickles. This is just a small sample of them...there are tons more.
Spiders
Here are a few Christmas spiders.
More
These were so much fun, I had to make a few more.
Swirl
I found this, easy, wire-wrapping pendant on Pinterest.
Glass
I found this old glass, button at an antique store. I had to use it for the other bracelet.
20
This cross was slightly modified, using Angeline Crichlow's, " #20 Midieval Cross."
Sea Horse
This has been on my To-Tat-List, but never got around to tatting it....so many things to tat, so few hours in a day. This pattern is by Debbie Arnold, tatted with pearl cotton number 12.
6
This was a crotatting pattern, by Feresa Harod, I converted into tatting. The pattern's called, " Cross Number 6."
Plain
I decided not to put the picots on some of the crosses, making it more masculine. More crosses from the Workbasket book. This is an easy pattern to remember, the stitch count scheme is 5.
Sneaker
Wanda's, "Split Ring Cross," wanted to be tatted. I needed to use up a little thread on my shuttles.
Trade
I traded some tatting for 12 balls of pearl cotton number 12. Here are a few crosses made from it, using a pattern from an old Workbasket magazine. Sure do love those little magazines. Keep looking in the thrift store, but they are so hard to find.
SR
This quick, cross pattern is by Wendy Durell, called "Split Ring Cross."
Scissor
My new little case need a pair of scissors. I used my lucet to quickly make a little fob, with a little tatting on the end.
Grads
This it the "Graduation Cross," by Wanda Salmans.
Coaster
A coaster by Robin.
Snow
Snow finally came off our garage. We just got done shoveling it out.
Make it Yours
I made up a few more "Make it Yours," tatting cases. They can be purchased as a kit or individually. See West Pine Creations.
Gum
I had to get this gum/container at the check out. I would work out great for tatting. There are 5 dividers that fit 4 Clover shuttles and my tatting essentials. There is enough room in the lid to keep my tatting.
Visit
The neighborhood deer came around for a visit.
