     I loooove this one!!!!  I used two stands of metallic gold and one strand of purple sewing thread, for the front.  The back is 3 strands of purple.   Perfect for LWML convention.

    Been in the mood to tat crosses, lately.  One of my favorite things to tat.  This one is by Roger, from the Needle Tatting Forum.

    I'm really impressed by this book, put out my Handy Hands.  There are a lot of cross patterns in it.  This one is by Dee Powell, called "Heritage Cross".    The book is called Tatted Bookmarks.

      I luceted the chain and tatted around a doo-dad, I found at Walmart.

    Found a pattern for a large tatting...quilters case.  I had to turn it into tatting stuff.  It's cool but a little big, good for traveling.  Still for short trips, I still like my large tatting cases.

    Ohhhhhh, I just lovvve this one!!  Rings only and goes fairly quickly.  Lene out did herself on this one.

     Another butterfly by Angela. "Butterfly Morfo".  I used 3 strands of iridescent white sewing thread for the front and purple for the back.

    Made a lucet handle for my new, origami tatting purse.  I started with a 12", square piece of fabric to make the purse.  Love the way it came out!!!

    I made a smaller lucet for my finer threads.  I made this cord from pearl cotton #12.  Going to tat something on the end and use it as a bookmark.

     I've decided to tat Angela's butterfly on the end without the beads.

    Started a 7 day, Lucet class by Stitch Diva Studios.  This is Viking, cord making.  Thought I might use it to incorporate into my tatting.  Day 1 I gathered all of my supplies, making a lucet.

 Day 2...basic cord.

 Day 3...adding beads to the core thread.

 Day 4...adding beads to the outer edge.

 Day 5...another way to make the cord.  Day 6...adding a second thread.

 Day 7...adding a third cord.

   By now you should know my favorite, and first tatting book, is Lene Bjorn's, "Tatted Bookmarks, Crosses."  This book is well loved and seen better days.   This is "Heidi" made with a shuttle only.

   Hubby caught the big one!! 30.5" and over 8 lbs. I lost 2 and caught a small 18".  He was so happy.
