Size 40
I wanted to try one with Lizbeth, size 40 thread. The butterfly is a few millimeters, smaller. I'm not pleased with this thread for the large rings. The rings are harder to close and tend to buckle. I'm going back to my smooth sewing thread. The rings come out beautifully.
Colorful
Having a ball with these butterflies. This one was tatted with three strands of Coats and Clark, variegated thread. The challenge was trying to get the strands to line up, somewhat.
Addicting
Well a good addiction. Have you given this pattern a try yet?
I gave this one, for a dear friend's birthday. Here she is...
Spring
Spring is in the air. The butterflies are coming out.
Happy Easter

Almost
Almost done, two more rounds to go.
Bare Ground
Found a good area of bare ground.
Doily
The doily was tatted with size 5 thread. This thread is not forgiving!! It's been a constant fight to close the rings. Finally, rubbed Thread Heaven on the thread, before I wound my shuttle. The rings close easier with this thread.
