Amazing doily! Quite spectacular! Great colors. I can't believe how quickly you finished it.
When I searched your search bar for 'Workbasket', I see you have the June 1973 issue. I've always wondered if that issue has a 3-D bell pattern in it. I saw a black and white photo of a 3-D bell once on Pinterest and it said it was 'from an old Workbasket' but didn't say which one. I know there is a bell in this issue, but is it 3-D? Could you confirm this for me? I don't need the pattern. I'm just curious about when a 3-D tatted bell was first published in a magazine. Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the response! In your postin January 2018 you mentioned winning a Workbasket magazine, and I thought you possibly won one of the two issues that were pictured, but you probably won a different one entirely!
It's really good to know that the Antique Pattern Library has been given permission to scan and publish all the Workbasket magazines! That will be a wonderful resource when the scanning project is completed!
Wow. That’s really effective.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome!!!!! :)
