One of our neighbors sells popcorn and cotton candy. In order for them to sell it, they need to wear a mask. I told her to bring me some fabric and would make them some. I made a few mask, hand sanitizer to attach to her purse and a little wallet.
I'm recycling my toilet paper rolls and paper towel roll. They are being used as planters. My lettuce is starting to come up. My basis hasn't come up yet. Once they get a little bigger, I'll plant the hole thing in the garden.
I have been tatting, but need to hide ends and block it all out. Not in the mood for doing tat yet. In the mean time, I've been sewing and drawing. Here is another set of placemats and a matching runner for the buffet.
I had found a Souvenir book at the thrift store, thinking it would make a great mini sketch book. I have it half-way finished. Here is a cats face, drawn with colored pencils. Of, course, it looks better in person.
Rachel is a very dear friend of mine. I taught her to needle tat, 8 years ago. She loves the needle and has no desire to shuttle tat. She is very tall and likes bold jewelry. This pattern was designed for her.
Last fall, I had submitted this pattern into Handy Hands. Today, in the mail, I received the latest issue of Helping Hands. On the front, cover, is "Rachel's Bracelet." I don't have the picture of the one, I physically sent to Handy Hands, it was done with the colors on the cover (Coral Splash).
I was going through the knitting and crochet tub and came across a few doilies, needing finishing. My favorite pattern is the pineapples. This one was easy to finish. I see the table clothe needs to be finished.
It was a nice day, so hubby decided he wanted an overhang to store the fire wood out of the rain. We had a tarp over it, but the tarp won't last another year.
