Lesson
I had a special visitor, come, clear from a town, west of Seattle. She was on her way to snowbird in Arizona. We had met, through a tatting exchange, back in 2016. I had given her my Tatsmithing book and a pair of embellishment earrings in the exchange. She wanted to learn these techniques. We met at the Bonners Ferry Farmers market and had a wonderful time. It was a rainy day, so this passed the time quickly. The wonderful lady's name was Phyllis and she had given me a unique cactus spine. She used it to pull out tatting stitches.
I didn't think I would use it, but, a few days later.....this works better than a needle. The spine doesn't fray my threads like a regular sewing needle.
Interesting!
