Workbasket

Workbasket

Nicola, on Facebook, started a doily.  She told us, the first one to guess what pattern she is working on, gets a Workbasket.  I can never pass up a Workbasket magazine.  I seen this doily before, but couldn't remember where.  I looked though a couple of books and no luck.  Giving up, I went into the bedroom.  I just happened to look down at Grandma's cedar chest, and there was the doily, hitting me in the face.  It was Renulek's, "2014 Spring Doily.   I ran back to my tablet and tried to type it in, while it wanted to lock up on me, and someone answered the question at the same time.  We both won.

Here is my doily...

Candle

Candle

I'm going slow on the doily and doing a few projects, in-between.  This is from Paradise Treasures, called "Beaded Tea Candle Holder."  I was deciding to use a purple candle or a white candle.  I chose the purple one, for the bathroom.

Large

Large

A dear friend had sent me some old jewelry.  I found a pair of large earrings, too large for me, but large enough to use as pendants.  I added some fingernail polish, an old jewelers trick, to give them some color.  Now to tat around them...

Mine

Mine

I had made my niece a pair of skates, years ago.  I needed a pair for my tree.  There was four nice days to ice skate on the lakes, before the snow ruined it.  This lovely pattern is by Sharon

Plain

Plain

This is a plain, boring silver ring...unless it is to replaced your wedding band.  This was a special order.  A poor, elderly lady's wedding band slipped off her finger in her yard.  She frantically searched, but couldn't find it.  She had seen me at the craft show and wanted a new one.  Now she is complete.
