Market
Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day at the Bonners Ferry Farmers Market, downtown in the city parking lot. We are there from 8 am to 1 pm.
Larger
I had to make a little larger ring for a matching necklace. The boys caught 24, keeper crab this day.
Smoke
We decided to get away from all the smoke from the forest fires. It was time to go crabbing on the Oregon coast. I needed a pair of earrings, for each day we were there. The newest collection is The Sea is Calling. Since the boys are crabbing, I needed to make a pair of crab ring earrings. The ring caught the first crab. This pair of earrings is called "The Crab Rings."
Twice
Twice, in one day, I broke my size 16 crochet hook. One of them, I've had for 9 years. I use them for tatting with sewing thread and adding seed beads. I just ordered another hook and had to dress it up. I added a rhinestone to the end, but the camera has a hard time focusing on sparkles.
Continue
I'm, continuing with the drawing. I've decided to accent it with colored pencil, after the marker portion is finished. I'm currently, working on the underpainting.
Color
I started to add color the the lily's outline. As I was adding the layers, the color started to bleed. I'm using mixed media, vellum paper.
Lily
I started a new marker picture, using my Chameleon markers. Here is the reference and the sketch. My friend, works in the garden department at the local grocery store. She took this beautiful picture.
Thrift Store
I went to the thrift store, for more quilling paper. They had one more package. While there, I went through the rest of their craft section. I came across, a new, unopened beaded cross stitch pin. I had to give this a try. I couldn't loose for fifty cents. The cat pin was stitched on heavy paper and only the first half of the cross stitch was stitch (with the bead). I backed the pin with felt, added the pin.
