    I needed to tat a cross for a dear, friend's birthday.  The pattern is "2016 Christmas Cross," by Damagirl.

     The dreaded virus has moved up here to North Idaho.  I needed to make hubby another mask and one for our neighbor.

     I made the earrings for the necklace, last spring.  I had the necklace done, I thought, until I discovered, I left out a bead.  Cut, cut, cut....come back later.  Finally I re-tatted the last two rounds.

     I haven't made this cross for a long time.  I wanted another one for my bible.  I designed this cross for my "church" mom's anniversary.

     The Irene doily is completed.  This was a good challenge.  The doily measured 10 3/4", using size 20 thread.  A little wonky in places.  Could be a tension problem on the cork screws or the long picots may be off.

      It was getting hot, this week.   To cool off, we went to the high mountains to do a little camping and fishing....of course my tatting is always ready to go.  Here are the next few rounds.

The Grand Finale....I can't believe I had gotten these awards!!  This was a very tough competition!  The Judges liked it because it reminds them of Idaho and their favorite camping spot.

Now, for next year.  I'm working on a small doily, cell phone case, edging and a hummingbird picture.
