A made this geocaching bag, for a Christmas present. The recipient is like a sister. We have been best friends since preschool. She likes music, so I added Stuart to the bag.
My mom gave me this awesome clutch kit to sew. I'll have to make a shuttle case and shuttle to match the clutch. I never go without at least one shuttle. (the thing on the top/background is my glasses, holding it up.)
This has been on my To-Tat-List, but never got around to tatting it....so many things to tat, so few hours in a day. This pattern is by Debbie Arnold, tatted with pearl cotton number 12.
I decided not to put the picots on some of the crosses, making it more masculine. More crosses from the Workbasket book. This is an easy pattern to remember, the stitch count scheme is 5.
I traded some tatting for 12 balls of pearl cotton number 12. Here are a few crosses made from it, using a pattern from an old Workbasket magazine. Sure do love those little magazines. Keep looking in the thrift store, but they are so hard to find.
I had to get this gum/container at the check out. I would work out great for tatting. There are 5 dividers that fit 4 Clover shuttles and my tatting essentials. There is enough room in the lid to keep my tatting.
