     This is a piece of Owyhee Picture Jasper, found near here, in the desert.  The piece measures 1 3/4" X 1 1/4" and is for sale.  Click on the link to the right, marked "Jasper."

     I didn't want to make plain snowflakes,  but I wanted a pure look to them.  I think the pearls did the trick.  The pattern came from Lene Bjorn's,  "24 Snowflakes. "

     Another favorite book is Jan Stawasz, "Tatted Treasures".  The tatted cross is from this book and the snowflake on the left is from his first book and the one on the right is from a Japanese book, "Tatting II".

     Wanted to warmer crochet hooks so had to add some banded, bling.

NOTE:  the bands change color with your body heat :)
