     The purple bands turn to a light pink from the heat of your body.

     These bands change color from the heat of your body.  The blue and red changes to a lighter color.

      Found a few keys at an estate sale, that needed something.  This was tatted with size 20 thread.

     The starburst bracelet didn't show off the two-toned bands very well.  This hexafish bracelet shows it better.

     These rubber bands have one color on one side and another color on the inside.  This is a starburst bracelet.

     The last of silversmithed earrings until the next order comes in.  This pair was done with green cats-eyes.

Ice Fishing

     It's getting to be that time of year!!!  My husband loooooooves to ice fish!!!  These are our two sleds.  My husband built boxes around the sled and built storage compartments. 

     The dog hates the ice...scared to death.  Once we finally pull him onto the ice, the freezy-cat needs a blanket to lay on.  He also needs another blanket to get wrapped up in.  Labs are suppose to be cold-weather dogs...not this one!

My blogs are usually a month in advanced,  so as today,  we are on the ice with 4 " of good ice!

     This pendant was Tatsmithed with two strands of Coats and Clark, silver sewing thread around a blue cats-eye.

     Found this brand, new, in the box, memory box at a yard sale for $2!!  I painted gold trim around to give it some character.  I'm using it for memories of Dad.  Need to fill it with some of my favorite, Dad, pictures!!

 

The Eagle with the flag drawing was designed by my dad.  He drew it out, right after 9 - 11.

Cambridge, ID, fair grounds, Sat - Sun, 10 - 4....My last craft show.

Dad

    Dad never recovered, nor did he really wake up from surgery.   He spent 18 days in ICU.  Mercy Hospital,  in Cedar Rapids,  IA has the best nurses and Doctors.   They gave my dad the best care and made sure our needs were also taken care of.   The wonderful surgeon tried everything he coud to save my dad, but God had other plans.  Dad is now at peace,  in Heaven. 

     This is a shelf, sat up in Dad's memory.   These are a few of the things I had made for him over the years.

     Don't know why I didn't take a picture with all of his loom band thingies.  My sister made the octopus,  jellyfish,  road runner and the coyote.   Dad loves the road runner.
